Just off the beaten path…fine handcrafted goods, intimate concerts, and creative experiences make it worth the detour.

TRADITIONAL ARTS

We began with a simple idea. That a small town can be a powerful place for art. We celebrate the work of artists rooted in these hills and hollers. We believe creativity is not separate from daily life—it is daily life. We carry forward traditions of craft, ingenuity, and resilience that define the Ozarks. At Lucky Star Handmade we highlight traditional crafts such as fiber, pottery, glass, wood, jewelry, metals, and agriculture. This work is made by hand and meant to be lived with.

PERFORMANCES

Lucky Star Handmade offers an intimate listening room experience where music takes center stage. We listen for the music carried on front porches, back roads, and quiet mornings and bring that spirit into a space where it can be heard the way it’s meant to be. From regional musicians to touring artists, our stage welcomes a wide range of voices and styles, all rooted in storytelling and connection. It’s not just music we gather for—writers, actors, storytellers, and cultural scholars also share their work here.

WORKSHOPS

Our workshops are about more than learning a craft—they're about discovering the joy of making. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, our hands-on classes offer a welcoming place to learn from accomplished artists. From time-honored traditions to fresh contemporary techniques, every class offers the opportunity to learn, experiment, and grow. Best of all, you'll leave with more than a finished piece—you'll leave with the pride that comes from making something uniquely your own.

Quotes from our Community

“Amazing selection of local artisans and crafts. Tons of unique items that you can't find anywhere else.”

“This store which is filled with all sorts of beautiful things created by local artists is a must see right in the heart of Yellville. They also sell roasted coffee and bakery items, also homemade. The prices are reasonable and the items are very diverse. They also host concerts which we sadly couldn't attend due to our travel schedule but next time for sure!”

“Lots of cool stuff by local artists and craftspersons. A must visit if you're in the area.”

“Love this place. So much interesting local art is displayed. Made some great purchases while there. We need to go back. The staff was just wonderful leading us through and explaining the collections. Make this one of your bucket list priorities.”

“A wonderful place to find beautiful, handcrafted work including paintings, sterling silver jewelry, pottery, and much more! I bought several items for gifts because I love to support local artists! They even have baked goods and will offer workshops.”
